Le Macine was built on 3500 square meters, which are fully at your disposition. Nobody else is in the house. The house’s living area is about 160 square meters large. The house consists of 1 Bedroom with one double bed and one single bed; 1 Bedroom with one double bed; 1 Bedroom with one single bed and one Bunk bed (or we can prepare it only with one double bed); a huge living room, a big kitchen, (a dishwasher is included) and an enormous terrace, which offers you the possibility to have a BBQ or to just relax and enjoy the nature.The garden is ideal for children and the whole family, who will love the pool.

STORY OF VILLA LE MACINE

The origin of the water mills, as witnessed by Vitruvius in his Treatise on Architecture dates back to' era of Caesar and Augustus. Numerous are the testimonies of water mills in Volterra territory and in particular of the Era Valley. The still living examples are those with a grinding amount of overlapping stone.

These particular buildings, from the obvious typical wall structure to spin or cobblestones, a time-to-face at sight, plastered to date back satin in most of the medieval period or immediately after.

The most representative, for consistency, for wall integrity, for the conserved ducts, as well as for the technical equipment in work are the two mills of Rossi's family. There are located in Val d' Era, isolated in the countryside around of watershed slopes of the hills in adherence to the natural flow of the river waters, are both located in the depression the ground by two arches with vaulted brick warping members and centralized on the prospect of the two buildings.

They also manage, in the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside, Agriturismo La Quiete a beautiful agriturismo with a restaurant reserved fot their guests. They have behind them an 'experience of over 30 years and are able to offer excellent local specialties.

In their menu you will find a fine selection of Tuscan specialties and local dishes, served with some of the best Tuscan wines.
